Stewartstown Harps History
When I posted up the question 2 weeks back seeking info on the date the Harps was formed and who the founding members where! I felt certain there'd be plenty responce as I know the subject has been talked and debated over this last while and certainly somebody could put this to rest.... anyway on getting not one reply and not intending for this to be a history lesson!

''The first Gaelic team in S/town was formed in 1914 and particapated in the S/town Dist League. Foundation members John Morrison, the late Joe McKelvey(R.I.P, executed Dublin 1922), Joe Smyth, Paddy Donnelly, Jim Joe Hannon, Thomas Fisher and J. Corr. The team kept going up till 1918,when most members were called to more active service for the nation. Late 1920 the club was reorganised, with the late Rev. Francis Ward as President. Club officials of this period were: Chair/J. Corr, Treasurer, J. Morrison, Sec/ Mick Mulgrew, Team Capt/ Hugh Tohall. Games at this period were mostly friendlies with gate receipts generally going to National Funds,...''Who fears to speak of Stewartstown Harps, Who dares to run them down!'' Anyway GOOD LUCK to HARPS for the championship. Cahir Devlin.

Pitch development
Any chance on getting an update on how the new pitch is progressing. We were all sold this idea that the new pitch wold be in developement, but no work has started. I know alot of work must be going on in the background but an update would be nice.
